Singer Sia gave fans a rare glimpse of her face during a show in Colorado on Wednesday (22Jun16) when a gust of wind almost blew her wig off.
The 40-year-old Australian star was in the middle of a concert when the trademark wig that usually obscures her face during performances was blown up by strong winds.
The wig stayed in place but eagle-eyed snappers caught the moment and managed to grab a shot of Sia Kate Isobelle Furler’s face.
The shot will serve Sia well as many critics have accused her of using body doubles and stand-ins at shows.
The Chandelier singer explained the reasoning behind her identity ‘masks’ during an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show in December (15), stating, “Well, it’s so that I can go to Target (store) and buy a hose if I want to. Or if I’m in need of a restroom and I can’t find one, I could go by the side of the road.”
Kylie Jenner has seemingly confirmed her relationship with rapper PartyNextDoor after locking lips with him in his new music video.
The Keeping Up with the Kardashians star sparked rumours she found a new man in the Canadian hip-hop star last month (May16), however neither have confirmed the romance.
But on Thursday (23Jun16), Kylie made an unexpected guest appearance in the promo for PartyNextDoor’s (PND) new single Come and See Me, which premiered on Snapchat and further fuelled speculation they are more than just friends.
In the video, 18-year-old Kylie dons a black lace nightgown and silky robe as she goes through a house making tea and touching up her make-up.
When she finally meets up with PND, 22, towards the end of the video, Kylie smiles and wraps her arms around the rapper as they go in for a steamy kiss in the pouring rain.
This isn’t the first time Kim Kardashian’s half-sister has been the star of a music video – last year (15), she was object of ex-boyfriend Tyga’s affection in the promo for his song Stimulated.
The 26-year-old Rack City hitmaker ended his relationship with Kylie in May (16) just before she allegedly started dating her new man.
Tyga and Kylie dated on-and-off for two years, and he recently told Big Boy TV that although he’s still on the market, he isn’t ruling out a reunion with his ex in the future.
“I’m single. I’m enjoying life,” Tyga said. “Later on in life, maybe we (Kylie and I) might come back, but right now I want to focus on what I need to do.”
Actress Blake Lively adopted a caveman diet to boost her strength throughout the gruelling The Shallows shoot.
The 28-year-old plays a surfer left to fend off a shark in the gripping new action movie, and to transform her body to look like a health-obsessed medical student, she radically altered the types of food she was eating by adopting a form of paleo diet, which is thought to consist of the kinds of meals early humans ate while hunting and gathering thousands of years ago.
“It (filming The Shallows) was eight months after I had a baby,” she tells U.S. news outlet Extra, referring to the birth of her daughter James in December, 2014. “It was such an undertaking, ’cause your body changes so much, not just for vanity’s sake, but I had to be strong to keep up with it.
“It was my job to train. No gluten, no soy, and then no processed foods. I had butter, I had sugar, I had all that stuff. It was just making my own stuff. I guess it was close to paleo… it was nice to eat clean like that.”
Her physical training was extensive as well, so much so Blake felt as if she was preparing for some type of professional sporting competition.
“It was like being an athlete more than an actor,” she explains. “It was incredibly physically demanding. I had to do my own stunts six of the eight weeks, I had to look like someone who was strong enough to be a surfer.”
Fans can witness an extraordinarily fit Blake beating back the waves and fighting for survival in The Shallows when the film is released in U.S. theatres on Friday (24Jun16).
“For those of you keeping score at home, I gave exactly 18 f**ks about my Pats. Upon reflection, 12 probably would have been sufficient. We Boston fans have always been known for our subtlety. One of my favorite interviews; hope you get to see the entire episode. #GoPats.” Ben Affleck on his expletive-filled sports interview with Bill Simmons, which aired in America on Wednesday night (22Jun16). During the chat, the movie star became passionate about his beloved New England Patriots football team.
“I learned my lesson on this one. Not a lot of artists would admit to moving keys for certain performances but doing that three times a day you have to do it… I try to make a habit of distancing myself from a song. You hear it played, you just walk out of the room. You just put it behind you. The way I look at it is, a hit song that connects, and it connected beyond my wildest dreams, but a hit song is not a career, a debut album is not a career, you have to keep looking forward to making the next thing.” Hozier wants to leave the room whenever he hears his huge hit Take Me to Church.
Former child star Christy Carlson Romano is set to become a mum.
The actress, who played an overachieving teen on U.S. TV show Even Stevens, and her husband, writer-producer Brendan Rooney, are expecting their first child.
The baby girl will be born on Christmas Day (25Dec16), according to Romano’s representative.
“I am flabbergasted at the serendipity of having a baby on Christmas,” the 32-year-old tells People. “It’s our favourite holiday! What a gift we’ll have this year. Feeling so blessed and grateful… and a little nauseous.”
If the baby arrives on time the delivery will take place days before the couple’s third wedding anniversary – Romano and Rooney wed in Canada on New Year’s Eve in 2013 (31Dec13).
The couple met in 2011, while they were students at Columbia University.
“A sincere thank you to all those who sent me the spirit of loving and forgiveness. It is a new birth year. Thank you.” Actress Selma Blair thanks friends and fans who offered her support following a meltdown on board a Delta flight to Los Angeles International Airport on Monday (20Jun16) as she celebrates her 44th birthday on Thursday (23Jun16).
Stevie Wonder has been added to the Prince tribute at the upcoming BET Awards. He will join Sheila E., D’Angelo, The Roots and Janelle Monae to honour the late music icon at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on Sunday (26Jun16).
Never-Nude is a very serious medical condition in which the afflicted is unable to be naked in any situation. Even while alone, the literally dozens who are affected by this potentially life-ruining disease find themselves unable to disrobe. While there are treatments (some in the form of denim cut-off shorts), a cure has yet to be found.
Thanks to the show Arrested Development, the condition came to the attention of the general public. Anyone who has ever filmed themselves dumping a bucket of ice over their heads knows that raising awareness is the first step in helping to combat these debilitating diseases. While Arrested Development provided faces to associate with Never-Nudes in the form of Tobias Fünke and Phillip Litt (guest star Zach Braff), the disease failed to be taken seriously the way other ailments are. Perhaps neither the world’s first analrapist nor the producer of the Girls With Low Self-Esteem videos were likable enough to make people care.
But all of that is about to change.
Beloved country music superstar and judge on reality talent show The Voice, Blake Shelton, is reportedly also a Never-Nude.
Page Six elaborates on the specifics of his condition: “he always keeps his dressing room closed. At photo shoots, he will not change on set. He goes back to his dressing room whenever he needs to take his clothes off.”
The most significant form of proof the gossip rag offers is in the form of a photo of the “Honey Bee” singer in a swimming pool with his girlfriend, Gwen Stefani, wearing swimming trunks and a t-shirt while she wears a tiny two-piece.
Here’s hoping that Blake can help raise awareness so that others suffering as Never-Nudes will be able to get the help and support they need. At the very least, here’s hoping Gwen gives him the confidence he needs to get better.
